What You Do

• You’ll be working as a full stack web developer on a dynamic, innovative team that moves rapidly from concept to delivery to solve business needs with the latest technologies
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle for the features and stories you pick up: translating requirements to technical design, testing, monitoring, implementation and deployment
• Collaborate with broader engineering team to estimate and plan sprints
• Work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peer developers to iteratively create technical solutions that meet business and technical

What Makes You a Perfect Fit

• Knowledgeable in Software Engineering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience working in an Agile environment, including standups, planning, retrospectives and demos
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with track record of taking solution ownership
• Experience working with server-side frameworks (Node.js, Express, Django, ASP.Net, Grails, Ruby on Rails, etc.)
• Experience working with web client frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Experience working with AWS (RDS, Lambda, EKS, SQS, etc.)
• Experience with Quality Assurance activities, including unit, integration and manual testing
• Experience working with CI/CD processes and tools, automated testing frameworks and practices – preferably GitHub
• Hands-on API and microservices (REST) experience
• Quick learner with a passion to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working within the Insurance domain is a nice to have

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s degree in non-technical discipline + coding bootcamp is also acceptable
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Applicable certifications preferred
