Responsibilities
Over the last year, Guidehouse has transformed its business through the integration following a large acquisition to create the firm we are today. Our people have navigated through process, system, policy, and strategy changes and alignments, while juggling their primary responsibilities serving our clients. Throw a global pandemic in the mix, and communications has never been more vital to creating connection back to our strategy, mission, vision, values, and each other.
As the Manager, Internal Communications, you will serve as the strategic advisor to Guidehouse’s Growth organization, supporting business strategy, new client wins, and company brand through offering communication program consultation, content development, and delivery. We are looking for someone who has the innate ability to summarize and share company strategy in a meaningful way for our diverse, global employee population. This role blends strategic planning with tactical execution and reports to the Associate Director, Internal Communications.
Primary areas of responsibility will include:
Develop and implement engaging and informative employee-targeted communication plans and deliver those messages through a variety of communication channels and mediums, including written, video, and all-hands formats.
Communicate business and leadership strategy, company growth and wins, and business unit information clearly and accurately, including developing content that is accessible, understandable, and engaging for a global audience. Advise business partners on local preferences, global best practices, and culture.
Connect with senior executives across our Growth Organization, including Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Business Development to understand changing business needs and continually innovate communications strategies to support that evolution.
Build upon and lead Guidehouse’s internal “Built to Guide” campaign that educates, inspires, and motivates our Brand Stewards as champions for brand, work, and people. while establishing the firm standard for future brand messaging as part of our culture.
In collaboration with the Associate Director, position all communications in the context of Guidehouse’s brand, reputation, and strategy while crafting an engaging and trusted voice.
Closely collaborate with Guidehouse’s social media lead, PR agency, and Senior Associate, Internal Communications to develop and manage the editorial calendar for company intranet, weekly newsletter, and other requests to ensure a strategic pattern and consistent experience for all employees, driving our company messages, and evolving storylines.
Measure, report, and adjust communications activities to drive business results and employee engagement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Strategic thinker who is results oriented and can deliver high-value programs at a tactical level.
Proven ability to advise internal partners on communication strategy aligned to business objectives, experience with growth or corporate communications preferred.
Skilled communicator able to articulate and connect high-level business strategy to the day-to-day business operations.
Superior writing, presentation, and project management skills.
Collaborative, team-oriented work style who can embrace and drive cultural change.
Must thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment and be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
7+ years of experience in internal or external communications, with multi-brand company experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
Additional Requirements

Due to our contractual requirements and an Executive Order from the White House, every federal government employee and onsite federal contractor will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. This requirement will apply to Guidehouse employees who work onsite for the federal government.
Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.
Salary ranges: $105,000-$115,000 dending upon experience
