This is an exciting opportunity to take education for Allied health professionals, Healthcare Scientists, and Psychologists into the next stage of development. For the last 18 months, the previous post holder has created great foundations to be built on. The post holder will lead on theeducation strategy to support and deliver specialist and IPE education acrossthe Evelina London for AHPs and HCSs in acute and community care settings. The education lead will work as part of the Evelina Education Team, and work closely with therapy and health care science leads and the AHP/HCS in the wider trust.

• To lead on the delivery of the Evelina London AHP primary and community care education strategy and work plan, including AHP professional development and delivery developing an education structure.
• To provide expertise and relationship management between AHP teams across Evelina London. To develop an education strategy encompassing inequalities, clinician learning needs assessment, mapping current education provision and plans, and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
• To advise on how specific priorities should be best supported through commissioning processes for education/training.
• To advise & support commissioners on: using education/training to improve patient experience and outcomes of care; link with wider primary care and patient experience programmes where appropriate; embedding our education resources into STP delivery, and collaboration between stakeholders including HEE.
• To seek opportunities to embed AHP educational activities into mainstream curriculum for primary and community healthcare professionals and at all levels
• To horizon scan educational funding opportunities

• Responsible for the monitoring and delivery of projects within Evelina London Education and reporting on the progress of the education project to key groups such as the Evelina Education Governance Group
• Accountable for strategic planning and delivering projects against set objectives, within agreed timeframes and achieving quality outcomes
• Interpret data from various sources, including national guidance, to inform the development of education projects, Identify of accurate and reliable evidence relevant to the education project from a large amount of complex information available from sources such as the academic literature and NHS information systems.
