Friendly and responsible medical receptionist wanted for Gynecology clinic in Hood River. Join this solo physician with many years of experience and be an integral part of a small team. Office hours Monday – Thursday 8:00am to 5 PM. Light and bright modern space in easily accessible small office park in Hood River. The office has 2 exam rooms, a lab/supplies room, a conference/lunch room and a spacious reception area.

Job duties include:

• greeting patients and checking them in
• scheduling appointments
• triaging phone calls
• verifying insurance benefits and collecting payments
• telephone/voicemail/fax management
• rooming patients for examinations and turning over exam room
• recording medications and medical information in the health record
• handling specimens
• sterilizing instruments
• back office duties of stocking and maintaining medical supplies and equipment
• learning Athena electronic medical records system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
