This position contributes to improving the wellbeing of Hamiltonians by providing specialist skills and knowledge in the preparation for and response to Civil Defence Emergency Events.

Reporting to the Response and Resilience Manager, the Emergency Management Officer (EMO) will facilitate delivery of Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM) by supporting Council, Hamilton City communities, and relevant agencies in understanding their hazards, planning for and mitigating risk and developing preparedness and collectively building resilience against disasters.
