Hamilton City Council Looking for Relationship and Delivery Manager at Hamilton Central, Waikato Full Time

About the Role
Reporting to the CIO you will work across the Information Services unit to ensure portfolios and programmes of work are appropriately prioritised, budgeted, forecasted, and managed – both in terms of project and in terms of customer needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the development of the Organisation’s digital strategy and the implementation of strategic initiatives
• Ensuring portfolios and programmes of work are appropriately prioritised, budgeted, forecasted, and managed
• Taking responsibility of Information Services delivery budgets and forecasts, ensuring information is both accurate and current.
• Building partnerships and liaising with leaders to maintain strong customer relationships between Information Services and the business, ensuring the right balance of needs, expectations, and satisfaction
• Performing Quality Assurance reviews as part of the wider IS Project/Programme team
• Actively identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement

You will bring to the role:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in strategy, information systems, project management or related field of study
• 8+ years working across business units within local government or a similar organisation
• 5+ years’ experience in project management with some part of that with direct programme management change management or business transformation
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong skills and experience with project budget and financial management.
