Our company is expanding and we are currently seeking a detailed Data Entry/ Customer Service Specialist to join our team.

Hanna Interpreting is a woman and minority-owned small business, providing interpretation, translation, and transcription services nationwide. Headquartered in San Diego, California, we are committed to the success of our clients and their customers, and pride ourselves on meeting the needs of those with Limited English Proficiency.

Our clients are public & private sector (healthcare, education, legal, etc.) who need translation and interpreting services to connect with the people they serve. We match them with our language experts throughout California, covering over 200 languages.

We’re known in the industry for always getting the job done. Whether a news agency urgently needs an interpreter to cover live breaking news, or a medical facility needs to assist limited-English-speaking patients – they call us because we have the experience and the relationships to make their jobs easier.

As a Hanna Data Entry/Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be eager to learn how processes work and be motivated to fix them when they don’t. Our Data Entry/Customer Service will be responsible for:

• Extensive data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Data verification
• Inbound and outbound phone calls, emailing, and filing
• Timely follow-up on all pending issues

If you’re the Data Entry/Customer Service Specialist we’re looking for, YOU…:

• Posses strong organizational skills and the ability to understand systems.
• Communicate in a positive manner, both verbally and in writing, providing excellent customer service.
• Are able to critically think through situations or circumstances that will allow you to work independently and resolve problems quickly and objectively.
• Have a strong work ethic reflecting accountability, responsiveness, and commitment
• Posses excellent computer skills
• 2+ years of data entry experience preferred
• Have the ability to multitask; organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities and functions
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (AA Degree and/or comparable work experience accepted)

Work Environment
This job operates in a business casual environment. Or better yet – we have fun, but we get the job done. Our group is made up of positive, passionate, and persistent people who all believe in the company mission to make the world more inclusive through language and technology. We currently have about 15 team members working in office, and 30-or-so team members working from home. Prior to COVID-19, we would regularly get together after-hours for hang outs, company parties, and volunteer events. We are looking forward to resuming those activities in the near future.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
