Cloud Engineer

About The Role

A great opportunity for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to be an integral part of our global IT Services team. You will support the delivery and optimisation of our cloud environments with focus on design, implementation and BAU run. This role ensures our Cloud Platform is maintained and engineered to perform at optimum levels, has adequate capacity to deliver contracted services and is monitored and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the cloud environments of Hansen and our customers. This includes architecture, development, deployment, optimisation, and operational support of cloud solutions.
• Optimisation across hosted systems related to Performance, Reliability, Operations, Costs, Monitoring and Security.
• Delivering customer and internal projects.
• Creation and management of CI/CD pipelines utilising Terraform.
• Maintaining client services, components, and associated infrastructure.
• Responding to incidents and service requests, which are cloud-related, using ITSM.
• Continual service improvement with the implementation of automation for incidents and requests in the ITSM tool.
• Creation of documentation around procedures, environments, infrastructure, runbooks, tasks, etc.
• Participate in the team on-call roster.

About you

Proven experience in a similar role with experience working with Azure environments. You will have experience in working with infrastructure as code in Terraform, Resource Templates, etc. You will also have:

• experience around scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Batch, etc.
• experience in troubleshooting in Azure, Windows, Linux, DB, etc.
• experience in building out pricing schedules around infrastructure/application deployments in Cloud environments.
• experience with automation initiatives around incident management and monitoring notifications.
