Position Summary:
Trade marketing managers focus on developing and overseeing all aspects of an organization’s marketing activities. Trade Marketing Managers to drive the success of effective marketing, advertising, and promotional activities of the company. An ideal candidate is an exemplary team leader, is very strategic, knows the market and consumers well, and has experience driving growth.
Trade marketers are responsible for local brand development and selling to companies who can then distribute to their customers. Their target audience will include distributors and retailers who can get the product in front of consumers.
Some everyday tasks in the position include developing and implementing well thought out marketing strategies, like product launches and loyalty programs, that increase success rate and brand perception.
General job responsibilities may involve representing an organization at relevant industry tradeshows, designing unique plans for individual products, and overseeing and analyzing new product launches. Trade marketing managers can advise on appropriate promotional procedures established from customer data analysis and current trends. They may oversee a team of personnel that assists them in implementing marketing strategies. Trade marketing managers may also advise retail store locations on methods for in-store solutions and consistently monitor if these methods are effective.
Job Responsibilities:
Creating and implementing the trade marketing strategy
Building relationships with key suppliers, identifying new revenue opportunities
Managing the promotional plan, identifying new promotional opportunities
Working closely with the marketing team to commercialize brand plans, looking at pack formats, pricing and promotions
Developing commercial toolboxes, including sell-in materials for the sales teams, and in-store (POS) materials for the retailers
Coaching and supporting the sales teams to execute effectively with customers
Managing the trade spend and allocating the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget across all channels/customers
Segmenting the customer base and working closely with P&Ls to optimize channel strategies and maximize ROI
Coordinates Merchandizing efforts in tandem with the regional sales managers
New product introductions & promotional activities, organizing events and product exhibitions
Key Skills:
Creativity is one of the most essential skills for a trade marketing manager since they are responsible for designing and implementing an organization’s marketing strategy. Trade marketing managers should have strong project management abilities in order to effectively oversee an organization’s strategy, including creating marketing materials and attending trade shows. Excellent interpersonal skills are valuable for collaborating with colleagues, overseeing personnel, and representing an organization at trade shows. Trade marketing managers will need strong analytical abilities in order to analyze customers’ purchasing habits and desires and develop effective ways for an organization to engage with them.

Basic Qualifications:
Trade marketing managers to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in trade marketing.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel,
Knowledge in Google Analytics, FaceBook Adds
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
Must have a high level of computer literacy
Detail-oriented
Strong organizational skills
Strong follow up skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-energy environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to learn and be comfortable collaborators. The role will typically also involve a great deal of digital and online marketing work, As such, executives may need to look at analytics and come up with appropriate courses of action, produce written and multimedia content and manage pay-per-click (PPC) and programmatic advertising. As such having a familiarity with and knowledge of digital and online marketing methods is beneficial.

Willingness to work in an office in CDMX.
Willingness and availability to travel 15% of the month
