Harper Smith Recruitment Looking for Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Residential, Tauranga at Tauranga Central, Bay of Plenty Full Time

We are seeking applications from intermediate (2 – 5 years experience) to senior Quantity Surveyors looking to work for a prominent national builder in the Tauranga franchise. This is a great opportunity to join a mid – high end award winning residential building firm who have a strong reputation in the market place. For the successful candidate this is an exciting opportunity to price and prepare estimates and do full contracts administration for new builds from architectural and engineering; specifications, designs and drawings.

You will also be a part of a fun and supportive culture within a positive atmosphere which will provide a good challenge and allow you to succeed. This organisation has a very healthy pipeline of new build work ahead and have strong support from head office.

To be considered for this role:

• Have experience in a QS position within the NZ residential building sector
• NZ Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Be a strong communicator as you will be dealing with a wide range of people including internal Project Managers, Sales people, admin staff along with customers and suppliers
• Strong Excel capabilities
• Ability to deal with multiple projects
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Good sense of humour
