Harper Smith Recruitment Looking for Quantity Surveyor – Intermediate at Hamilton Central, Waikato Full Time

We are seeking a seeking a confident QS who is familiar with $3m+ projects in NZ to become part of the cohesive and professional team within this well recognised regional commercial contractor. This position will see the successful candidate thriving in a project focused role working alongside a high performing commercial team with the ability to be totally hands on. You will be responsible for full contract administration duties, budget comparisons, tender analysis of sub-contractors, sub-contractor agreements, variations and preparation of budgets.

You may also be required to:

• Look to improve the business systems and efficiency to improve production.
• Accurately set and measure all pricing.
• Prepare registrations of interest, estimates and proposals for the Sales function of the business.

We would like to hear from you if you meet the following criteria:

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying 
• NZ experience in commercial contracts Quantity Surveying
• Efficient organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail
• Effective communication and negotiation skills 
• Solid computer skills 
• NZ Drivers license
