THE ROLE

We are seeking a fully remote, US based Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Tester) to strengthen our R&D Operations group.

The QA Analyst’s mission is to successfully deliver on key deliverables, such as creation of test cases and execution of test cases that will ultimately drive QA strategy. The QA Analyst will evolve the QA processes with additional tools, processes, and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing process to test pre-release features and verify functionality, content, usability and software compatibility
• Partnering with designers / BAs and developers to provide feedback and support to deliver on common goals
• Contributing to the advancement and improvement of the QA team through sharing of best practices, mentoring teammates, streamlining processes and test automation
• Provide quality assurance testing of product releases, verify technical impact of those releases, and investigate all completed development to ensure deliverables meet client specifications before solutions are provided to our clients
• Testing of integrating new features using (mobile, web, kiosks, phone)
• Verification of integrating third-party hardware using third-party APIs and drivers
• Assurance of integrating credit card gateways and Check21 (ICL) bank files into core application

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years QA for development of commercial enterprise applications in Oracle Forms technology
• Able to test database design solutions, Oracle Database and PL/SQL understanding an asset
• Able to test results of complex queries against very large data sets.
• Experience in both high-level (system) and low-level software design
• Able to independently test the design and code of add-on features to existing code base
• Experience verifying the development of publicly published APIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and use of MS Office
• Prefer experience using AccuRev, PVCS, Git
• Prefer experience using Jira, Salesforce
• Prefer experience in POS or other hardware integration using third-party APIs
• MUST be based in the United States.
