Harvey Norman People Operations is seeking a self-motivated and organised Time and Attendance Coordinator to support our Payroll team! This role is perfect for an experienced administrator looking to gain experience supporting a national retail business!

 About the Role

This role will provide administrative support for the scheduling and attendance system along with analytical reporting for HR and Payroll teams. You will work full time Monday to Friday with free car parking available, located at our Head Office in Manukau. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the HR and payroll team in the administrative and procedural tasks associated with the ongoing maintenance of our SAM Workforce Management system (Scheduling and Attendance System)
• Monitoring and maintenance of system uptake and issues including data integrity, organisational structures, and business rules
• Ongoing system reporting for business users, payroll and HR team
• Acting as the key support contact for business users with administrative or functional queries and issues.

 To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Proficient and experienced with use of various software programs
• Superior communication, prioritisation and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work to time constraints – combining quantity and quality
• Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• A willingness to learn and desire to take full ownership of your role
• A pro-active, can-do approach
• An understanding of employment legislation would be beneficial; however training will be given.
