Taitara Mahi – Building Warrant of Fitness & Compliance Schedule Officer

Permanent full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

We are seeking applicants for a permanent full-time Building Warrant of Fitness & Compliance Schedule Officer position to join the Compliance Team in the Planning & Regulatory Services Group.

As part of a multi-skilled team, you will be assisting with monitoring, managing and coordinating compliance and enforcement schedules for the building and compliance teams with a particular focus in auditing BWOF & Compliance Schedules.

This position will suit a person who has an understanding of the building consent process and/or training and experience in a practical industry role such as building, plumbing & drainage, building design or inspection or and IQP. You will also need knowledge of the Building Act and associated legislation & New Zealand Standards as prior technical experience and an ability to correctly interpret and apply this legislation is of vital importance.
