About the role at Midwinter

As part of the core development team, you will be working on AdviceOS – an award-winning application for financial advisers. You will be involved in the design and development of solutions that span the entire tech stack front to back.

Other main activities will include:

• Strong understanding of software design patterns
• Ability to write high-quality, reliable code with security and scalability in mind
• An understanding of the array of threats and vulnerabilities that characterize modern cybersecurity.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Respond to bug reports and debug production issues across the entire platform.
• Use your experience to offer new improvements to current processes
• Ongoing maintenance of the codebase to ensure continuous improvement

Seniority

Junior – A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically less than 2 years of experience is required.

-Backend application development – Develop, test, and maintain software applications

-Frontend Application Development – Develop, test, and maintain the user-side elements of a website or app
