Minimum 64 hours per fortnight

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Wairoa Hospital and Community team.

Wairoa is a rural location. The service covers an area north of the Waikare River to the Urewera’s at Tuai to the Wharerata ranges and Mahia peninsular in the north east. Our acute ward is a 2 bed emergency, 9 bed inpatient ward that has adjacent a 3 bed primary maternity facility based alongside the Queen St GP Practice.

You will be a Registered Social Worker with clinical experience across the scope of community and acute practice. You will be a strong communicator and be competent to engage and address cultural needs of the consumer and whanau. You will also need a clean NZ driver licence to be considered.
