A leading and national governmental education organisation in Townsville are seeking an Application Developer (Software Engineer) to work several of their in-house built platforms.

Your new role

Your new role will see you work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team comprised of software developers/engineers to work on, support and maintain a variety of internally and externally facing platforms and systems used by stakeholders throughout the North/Far-North QLD region (whilst working from their HQ in Townsville). Several of these existing platforms underpin the running of this organisation and are key to its operation and your work will see these expand to incorporate integration from other government/NFP systems to not only increase the number of users with access to these, but the effectiveness and impact that these systems bring. Aside from the technical aspects of this role you will also be developing user documentation and technical procedures to support the needs of this organisation whilst also furthering the positive impact they have on students across the region.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will need experience across some of the following:

• .Net and C#
• Microsoft Dynamics
• SharePoint
• SQL and SQL Server
• Excel VBA and JavaScript not a necessity but would be beneficial
