Data and Reporting Analyst opportunity within a Government Department for an initial contract to 30 June 2022.

Your new company

You will be working with a Government Department as a Data Analyst in the Data Warehouse/Analytics team.

Your new role

As a Data Analyst, you will proactively work with the Data Architect/Engineer to add new sources to the Warehouse ELT process. Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement of existing load scripts, stored procedures, and report tables. Develop and maintain critical data sets for ongoing analysis and reporting. Develop stored procedures and tables for extraction to the Azure Data Lake, Databricks and other cloud-based analytics platforms.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered, you will need:

• Experience with Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing
• OLAP experience using CDC & robocopy to copy transactional data from an OLTP database to the OLAP database (warehouse)
• SQL skills/SQL scripts to improve efficiency and performance
• Database Developer experience, including stored procedures, and ability to transform data to DEN and report entities

You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline) personnel security clearance.
