Oracle Database Developer
12 Month Contract
Up to $850 per day + Super

Oracle RDBMS 11g exp required.


Your new company

One of Sydney’s largest financial service providers is looking for experienced Database Developers to join the Enterprise Services team. Utilise world class IT infrastructure, platforms and processes as part of the business banking and online banking projects.

Your new role

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers and Project Architects, to design, build and support critical applications;
• Design application logical database requirements and implement physical solutions.
• Develop back-end database code to support business requirements.
• Review stored procedure code written by other developers.
• Lead the technical design process.
• Design and implement database mechanisms for data integration in the enterprise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve, in conjunction with Operational DBAs, database application issues across production, test and development environments.
• Performance tune applications from a database code and design perspective
• Mentoring other developers in database solutions

What you’ll need to succeed

• Advanced experience as a database development specialist on Oracle RDBMS 11g (12c exposure advantageous).
• Recent experience on Microsoft SQL Server desirable.
• Advanced PL/SQL development skills.
• Advanced tuning skills in a high-volume Oracle enterprise database
• Excellent Linux and scripting skills
