Leading energy organisation is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join their organisation.

Your new company

This leader manages the electricity and gas systems and markets across Australia, to ensure Australians have access to reliable, secure energy.

Your new role

You will navigate your way around Java code in the Legacy code based built in Java. You will problem solve with other team members in the project and determine application functions and building objectives with the team and assisting other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.

You will be interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications and ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives. You will plan and execute all deployment of system features and monitor for successful integration, maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle.

You should have hands-on experience in developing software with agile or scrum methodologies and are ready to lead our junior developer’s team. You should have an innovative thought process and creative thinking which can bring out of the box and alternate ways of system implementation.

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks
• Scrum experience (essential)
• Positive and professional approach at all times
• Experience with large and disparate data set
• Good delegation and time management skills
• Great problem-solving abilities
