The development team in Sydney is encompassed of 6 developers split between back end and front end developers

Your new role

In this role you will develop and support web applications based on design and functional requirements. The candidate will be required to carry out development, build, test and support, following the SDLC to ensure a functional outcome, working closely with the existing application development team. Many of the projects will involve moving legacy systems to newer Java Frameworks.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 3-5 years’ experience In Java Engineering

• Experience in application software development.
• Experience in Java frameworks such as Spring
• Experience in front end web development using React and Angular
• Experience in SQL and PostgreSQL database
• Understanding of how streaming technologies work such as Kafka
• Understanding of .Net Framework is desirable
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
