A leading education organisation in Cairns CBD are seeking a Software Systems Engineer to design, create, implement and support the software and systems to be used across this organisation 30+ sites!

Your new role

Your new role will see you work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of digital engineers and technicians to design, build, deploy and maintain a variety of internally and externally facing platforms and systems used by stakeholders throughout the North/Far-North QLD region (whilst working from their centralised HQ in Cairns CBD).

Several of these existing platforms underpin the running of this organisation and are key to its operation and your work will see these expand to incorporate integration from other government/NFP systems to not only increase the number of users with access to these, but the effectiveness and impact that these systems bring.

What you’ll need to succeed

For this role you will need experience across C#, SQL and the general Microsoft eco system of technologies.

For a more in depth list, this role will see you use a variety of technologies such as:

• .Net, C# and PowerShell
• Cloud based technologies such as MS 365 and Azure
• SQL and SQL Server
• Microsoft Identity and Access Management
• SharePoint and other related technologies
• On-Premise, Cloud, SAAS and API platforms

What you’ll get in return

You will be offered a permanent role paying $100,000 base (with a circa 3% pay rise every year) plus super with 5 weeks annual leave (with loading) and flexible working conditions for a leading education organisation in Cairns CBD.
