In need of a sharp accounting professional looking to grow. We are looking for a Financial Accountant that wants to support the business of an environmentally conscious company. This growing green enterprise has laid roots in New Zealand and Australia. Providing services in environmental consultation, grounds maintenance, ecological services, green asset management, and many more operations. Their range of work expands from commercial, residential, and contract services. With the future looking at environmental sustainability, this company is destined to shine.

Your new role

• Financial reporting, internal control procedures, and to ensure the integrity of the General Ledger and accounting records.
• Supervising AP/AR while reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
• Financial control, compliance, maintaining and continuously improving processes.
• Working with a finance team and reporting to the Head of Finance, to provide financial support services to Operating Divisions.
• The accurate and timely preparation of financial and operational results, transaction processing and the provision of analysis.

What you’ll need to succeed

• CA/CPA or similar; OR qualified by experience with some formal accountancy qualification
• A Bachelor’s degree or greater
• Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a large business / organisation
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, standards and processes
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency – Excel, Word, PowerPoint – Excel to an advanced level (Pivot Tables, Lookups etc.)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in SAP Business One will be advantageous or similar ERP accounting systems
• Developing good business relationships. The ability to relate to people at all levels.
• Need to have experience working with Auditors
