Hays Recruitment Cork are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman for our client, a leading Tier 1 Contractor working on an extensive project portfolio based in Cork city and surrounding areas. This is a permanent role and an excellent salary is on offer to the right candidate.
Role
Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
Management and control of health and safety issues
Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
Understand quality requirements from specs and drawings and ensure compliance with both
Requirements
Must have a strong site/trade background
Previous experience in commercial construction is beneficial
Previous experience as a site foreman is essential
Able to work within a team
Adaptable, motivated and uses own initiative
Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team
Proven record of seeing projects through from beginning to completion
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From €65,000.00 per year
