Fast growing start up looking to rejuvenate the Fin/RegTech industry, is looking to expand their team in what is truly a rare opportunity to work on a new state-of-the-art platform from the ground up

So the team are looking for an experienced Senior Front-end Developer to join them in this fully remote role. You will be responsible for creating innovative and interactive user experiences for their new web application. You will work closely with the CTO and the rest of the development team to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions/products.

What will you be doing?

• Design and implement new user-facing features using React, Next.js, and Material UI library.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with the back-end development team to integrate front-end and back-end systems.
• Write automated tests to ensure the quality and stability of the codebase.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of code changes.

Qualifications & ideal experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Front-end Development.
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and Material UI library.
• Experience with AWS and microservice architecture.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Enzyme.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a remote team environment.
