Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Transportation Planner 3, we’ll count on you to:Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline transportationplanning and environmental compliance projectsPrepare, plan, and review transportation planning documentsEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual,design and production meetingsDirect work of others in completion of required studies, documents and reportsDemonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planningand programming experienceParticipate in design development and contract document work sessions inconjunction with appropriate technical professionals and other disciplinesCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project development tocomplete documents on schedulePerform other duties as neededQualificationsRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree in Planning, Engineering or a related field10+ years of relevant planning experiencePossess excellent analytical and communication skillsUnderstanding of multimodal planning principlesPositive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and personnelDemonstrated presentation skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of ouremployee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsAICP or AICP CandidatePreference given to local candidatesWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn’t only about who you work for; it’s alsoabout what you do and how you do it.
