Head Office Hiring for Beers, Wines and Spirits Trading Assistant at Bracknell RG12 Full Time

Waitrose & Partners has a fantastic opportunity for a Beers, Wines and Spirits Trading Assistant to join the Drinks Buying team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What’s the role about?

In this role you will be working across the Beers, Wines and Spirits (BWS) team supporting Buyers with a broad range of tasks.

You will be responsible for the end to end successful delivery and execution of the Press Tasting Event held biannually. You will work with a broad range of suppliers and other Internal and External stakeholders to ensure a seamless event and the timely completion of all the associated administration.

In addition to the above you will act as the link between the BWS team and a variety of internal stakeholders such as Central Retail, Customer and PR as well as External stakeholders such as competition bodies, press and our suppliers.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a passion for wine, is able to forge open and honest relationships and is able to prioritise and work at pace. It is essential that you have wine qualification such as WSET Level 2 or equivalent

Please note, the salary range for this role is £29,800 – £44,200 per annum (FTE)

What will you be doing as a Beers, Wines and Spirits Trading Assistant?

Some of the accountabilities for this role include:

• Deliver all competition and award entries and manage financial processing

• Deliver The Press Tasting

• Act as central communication point for Customer/Retail

• Manage all 3rd Party/GNFR invoicing/POs

• Manage and participate in Category and BenchmarkingTastings
