BACKGROUND
National Health Corps: Community Health Fellowship (NHC:CHF) Greater Philadelphia is now recruiting members for their current cohort!
The Community Health Fellowship program recruits, trains, and places a small number of individuals into resource-limited organizations in communities across the Greater Philadelphia area.
All candidates must apply through the national health corps website. We cannot interview applicants until you have done so. Applicants are asked to create a log-in, answer a brief questionnaire, and submit 2 references through the application portal. National Health Corps will then outreach to you.
The NHC Community Health Fellowship member must be a resident of Philadelphia County
Members complete 1,700 hours of service during a 42-46 week service term. These NHC: CHF members help build healthy communities by providing essential health education and services to individuals in communities plagued by histories of racial and economic inequities, while developing into compassionate health leaders. Members are trained as Community Health Workers (through an accredited provider) and will be trained at Digital Health Navigators and receive the experience and supervision needed to jumpstart public health careers.
