Head of Technology & Data
Fulltime (possibility of part-time 4 days per week)
Location: Eden Terrace Auckland or Collingwood Golden Bay
We’re seeking an awesome new addition to our HealthPost leadership team.

About the role:
You’ll be empowered to lead the IT function and ensure business challenges and opportunities are met with optimal technology solutions.
You’ll own all aspects of data and technology, delivering outstanding routine IT services whilst transforming IT capability to best support the organisation’s future vision and growth strategy
The primary purposes of the Head of Technology & Data role are to:
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and strategy for our use of technology and data
- Help ensure that our use of technology and data is a source of continual competitive advantage
- Provide seamless technology services and ensure IT fundamentals are optimised and functioning well
- Ensure that our overall ICT environment is fit-for-purpose, effective, secure, well-optimised and scalable
- Support e-commerce and marketing initiatives to increase revenue, customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Key requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a similar Head of IT or IT Manager role.
- Proven experience building and executing on IT strategies that improve efficiency and/or drive revenue.
- Strong leadership skills. You will be a competent, focused, process driven and collaborative manager with excellent soft skills who can successfully lead through change and transition.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors from tactical to strategic levels and proven track record delivering value through business/IT partnership.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, commerce, business administration or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Experience and a working knowledge of retail, ecommerce and digital marketing preferred but not essential.
- Experience in working with API layers and software systems integration viewed favourably.
- Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and high-performance.
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging technology platforms, such as ERP, WMS, CRM, CDP, CMS.
Above all else, you will have a friendly, positive, can-do attitude with high levels of emotional intelligence and maturity.
