EDI Support Analyst

Our services cut across finance, procurement, supply chain, data and payroll, ensuring that the hospitals in our region have the services and products they need to improve the healthcare for every New Zealander.  

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst to join our team, working on our Finance Procurement and Information Management System (FPIM) Programme. The FPIM Programme is tasked with implementing a national Oracle solution in the Northern Region Hospitals.   

The FPIM Support Analyst is responsible for providing first level of business support -of the national FPIM Oracle solution- to the Northern Region users. This entails key responsibilities in the areas of EDI monitoring, Incident Management, Problem Management, User Security and DFA Management.  

The FPIM Business Support Analyst will also support the FPIM Solution Specialists -and other HealthSource and Northern Region DHB peers- in FPIM related continuous improvement and change & release management activities, as required. 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

Collate current state business processes & SOPs.  

Develop & document future state business processes for Northern Region processes across finance, supply chain & iProc, including HealthSource shared service processes (eg Data)  

Support & help develop UT scenario development and test scripting 

Support and help develop Business Education 

Support HealthSource teams in the update of SOPs.  

Provide Post Go Live process and system support. 

Monitor EDI transactions, provide daily business support

Provide monthly EDI reporting and analysis

Onboard new EDI suppliers,

Build and Maintain relationships with suppliers

Provide level 1 business support for National Oracle FPIM solution

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience: 

Bachelor Degree (Business Studies, Management or Information Technology Business Analysis qualification(s) are preferred 

3-5 years ERP / Business Analyst experience 

ERP system experience

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills 

Understanding of Health Sector business practices and processes 

Strong capability in quantitative analysis
