The team who get our iconic beers to market are on the look-out for a Packaging Quality Specialist who’ll drive Packaging Quality KPIs (Packaging Quality Standards, Packaging Material Loss, Packaging Justified Complaints and Packaging NPDs) by analysing quality losses, implementing and sustaining quality standards through training and coaching packaging operational team. This is a key role that allows us to achieve real quality at shopfloor to meeting customers/consumers satisfaction. It is a bridge between Packaging Department and Quality Department.

We want to make a step change in our Packaging operations and you’ll play a big part in helping us do that. You’ll review processes and practices to ensure we’re operating at peak efficiency and ensuring the safety of our team and food standards are a high priority. With a strong interest and prior success in continuous improvement, you’ll work closely with our Packaging leadership team to find ways to increase efficiency, minimise losses and complaints. Another important part of this role is to engage with our shop-floor team to influence and implement change through the delivery of effective training and practices.

To be successful in this role you will

• Ideally have a relevant degree, engineering, or food science or supply chain
• A minimum two years of work experience in FMCG
• Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management System in food industry with QC testing experience
• Strong operational improvement experience, have the ability to accurately collate and analyse data and lead improvement projects

This role positioned to someone who has been a beginner in continuous improvement field with great quality focus and want to move to an intermediate level. You will be reporting to Packaging and Maintenance Manager.
