Helecom System is currently seeking Full Time/Part Time applicants to join our software development / Technical Support Team in South of Sydney. Experience in development of Business Applications (POS, MIS, ERP, Accounting etc) with VB / C# / VB.NET would be highly regarded but not essential.
Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Develop new application software according to requirements specified;
- Enhance / maintain existing application software;
- As required, assist with client upgrades and preparing systems for presentations / demonstrations;
- Document object models / program logic and user manuals;
- Provide technical support to clients.
Knowledge:
- VB6 / C# / VB.NET;
- OO design methodologies;
- Database programming knowledge including SQL skills;
- WEB based technologies (HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, React etc.);
- Computer PC Hardware / Windows Operating System
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to handle multiple projects;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually where required;
- Self motivated.
