We are excited to be opening our very own, 100% locally owned Helloworld Travel Agency in Gore. Helloworld Travel are a national industry leader, and we are proud to be associated with them. As the world reopens after the pandemic and the travel revival begins, we feel it is a great opportunity to help Eastern Southland’s people plan their dream holidays and create wonderful memories.

We have a vacancy for a travel consultant or new starter to the industry to jump on board at the beginning of our journey. Experience is not essential as training will be provided. If you’re enthusiastic and excited about the travel industry you can’t afford to miss this chance.

Qualifications & experience

• High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, Airline GDS, and/or travel mid-office systems is an advantage but not essential as training will be given
• Excellent customer service
• Be a keen traveller
• Be able to adapt to changes quickly

• Build lasting relationships with everyone
• Create travel itineraries based on clients’ needs and your recommendations
• Provide exceptional care to your clients
