Helloworld Travel Limited Looking for Fares and Ticketing Consultant at Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Who we are:

Air Tickets, a Helloworld Travel Group Company, is seeking a full-time Fares and Ticketing Consultant to join the Air Tickets ticketing team in our Auckland location

Working as part of a national team, you will be required to handle any questions asked by a Travel Agent in relation to interpreting Airline Fare Rules and their Ticketing processes whilst delivering air tickets efficiently and cost-effectively.

The group encompasses travel brands providing franchised retail services, wholesale products, specialist government and corporate business travel and ticket distribution services across eight countries.

What you will be responsible for:

• Accurate and competitive construction of fare quotes
• Answer and handle queue calls from customers in an appropriate manner and time frame
• Accurate and correct issuance of all types of airline documentation
• Interpret Airline Fare Rules and their Ticketing processes
• Liaise with airline representatives and internal air ticket account manager to solve ticketing problems
• Help other ticketers from time to time with complex ticketing queries
• Refer complex ticketing queries to the Senior Fares and ticketing Consultant to assist with the resolution

What you will bring:

• Fares & Ticketing I and II qualifications
• Sound knowledge of all GDS systems
• Strong team player
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of Customer Service
• Good problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills
• High competency level of fares and ticketing, with the ability to decipher fare sheets and rules quickly and accurately
• Ability to meet deadlines and to follow tasks through to completion
• Ensuring that own work is completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in accordance with operational KPI
