Hendall Inc Hiring for Permissions Editor at Remote Full Time

OVERVIEW

Hendall Inc. is seeking an Editor to identify and negotiate with copyright holders to secure permissions to republish or adapt copyrighted material. This individual will review manuscripts to identify content that requires rights and permissions, identify the copyright holder, negotiate rights and permissions, and support quality control efforts to ensure that rights agreements are adhered to.

DUTIES

• Review manuscripts to identify copyrighted material
• Identify rights holders
• Contact and negotiate with rights holders
• Track the status of all pending requests and outcomes from negotiations
• Review content to ensure consistency with rights agreements
• Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Demonstrated track record completing permissions projects
