searching for a Project Engineer to join their Spring Engineering team
at the Tech Center in Woodridge, IL.

This engineer will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of
various leaf spring projects. Responsibilities include but are not
limited to:

Manage all technical aspects of multiple and/or major projects utilizing
the Product Planning and Development Procedure.

Designs, validates, provides test reports and sign-off documents, and
ensures production readiness.

Coordinates with CAD, FEA and laboratory personnel and interfaces with
other departments in support of the above.

Coordinates the technical design and test aspects on projects with
suppliers and customers.

Provides continuous improvement through employee development, process
improvement and elimination of waste.

Helps to assure safety in the lab and office.

Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess:

Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required.
BSME/BSAgE/BS preferred.

4+ years’ experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or
medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite
element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design.

Demonstrated product innovation.

Electrical or brake experience a plus.

Project management experience preferred

Physical requirements in this role require:

Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time.

Occasional standing and walking on concrete.

Occasional climbing stairs and fixed/vertical ladders.

Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs.

Ability to push/pull carts (minimal 25lbs) and parts (minimal 60lbs).

Ability to drive as required.

Ability to travel as required.

Demonstrated ability to meet product development deadlines.
