Summary: *
The Cleaners responsibility is to keep the building clean and in an orderly condition. They perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, removing garbage, and vacuuming. Additionally, they are responsible for cleaning GMP areas up to the specified standards.

Job Duties: *

• Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean and supply restrooms
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Set up, arrange, and remove tables, chairs for events
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills
• Highly flexible, with good interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year of cleaning work experience
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs continuously throughout the day.
• High school diploma/GED
• First Aid training preferred
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Reduce environmental impact whenever possible
• Fluent English (reading/speaking/writing)

Work Conditions:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday availability
• Standing, bending, lifting throughout the day
• Able to lift at least 50lbs
• Manual dexterity
• Overtime as required
• Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
• Have good attendance and safety record
