Heritage Homecare Hiring for Homecare Assistant Long Days Job at Monkstown , Ireland Full Time

We currently we have an URGENT need for experienced carers for fulltime long days/ block hours for daytime shifts.

The main areas in which we need carers for this type of work at the moment are within the Monkstown & Rathfarnham areas.

The positions involve supporting the client in their own home, providing daytime companionship, personal care, cooking meals and maintaining the household. Previous experience in homecare is desired.

• Applicants should have excellent communication skills
• Applicants should have a minimum of 2 relevant QQI Level 5 or equivalent
• Applicants should have experience working as a Carer with older people
• Applicants should ideally have experience and expertise in the area of Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Long day Carer roles are normally shared by a team of two carers, who work opposite ends of the week.
