Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide support in cash posting, billing, researching payment discrepancies, and to handle light collections.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in full cycle accounts receivable and have large software knowledge. Ideally SAP or Oracle.

This position is a hybrid in office/remote position.

Responsibilities of Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Perform daily/weekly collection calls, monitor accounts to ensure receivables are current
• Reconcile customer accounts, research invoice discrepancies, and resolve any issues
• Maintain customer files and accounting documentations
• Prepare, post and balance bank deposits
• Process credit card transactions
• Handle corporate billing, invoice on customer portals
• Investigate and resolve questions or concerns pertaining to billing
• Assist with month-end closing and perform other work-related duties as assigned
• Work in a cross-function team to reduce process, cost and errors

Required Experience and Knowledge of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Large software knowledge highly preferred
• Proven knowledge as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, with 2 years of experience minimum
• Strong Excel skills i.e., pivot tables
• Reliable, good work ethic, exceptional analytical skills

• Salary: $21 – $27 per hour depending on degree and experience
