An exciting opportunity awaits for Part-Time Food and Beverage at our rooftop bar Sunset and East Restaurant at Sudima Auckland City. Influences from beloved bars from around the world have been woven together to create Sunset’s tapestry of inspiration; one thread from a bustling rooftop terrace in Mumbai, one from a speakeasy in Budapest, another from a hotel bar on Manhattan’s High Line. A delicious cocktail of global influences, cultures and talents come together to create this popular space.

Cocktails, delicious food and comfortable surroundings all best enjoyed with Sunset’s expansive rooftop view of the city and harbour.

East is a 100-seat restaurant, designed by an award-winning international interior designer, East has distinguished itself in the Auckland dining scene with a ground-breaking, vegetarian modern Asian menu.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar role, and a passion for exceeding guests expectations.

Hourly rate for this role is $27.00 per hour, weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Work as a team to ensure exceptional service and dining experiences
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail
• Have a desire to learn and grow your hospitality career
• Preferred service experience in restaurant & bar, cafe service or customer facing role
• Relevant Hospitality qualification desirable but not essential
• Candidates must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand to be considered for the role.
