Learning and Development Specialist
Utilizing your interest and background in developing training material and providing user readiness support for a major hospital upgrade project.
What you’ll do
- Develop training materials including Quick Reference Guides, videos, e-learning material etc.
- Provide training to user groups (including hospital staff) on system clinical applications by participating in needs analysis to determine training requirements
- Participate in the development and maintenance of training processes for clinical utilization of the system
- Create and deliver classroom training
- Maintain various user manuals, on-line and eLearning training, and user reference documentation by revising, editing and distributing documentation when new modules are installed or existing modules are upgraded
- Provide Go-Live Elbow Support
What you bring
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Adult Education plus three (3) years’ of recent related experience in training and training development
- Experience with Articulate (e-learning software); a Learning Management System – LMS (SCORMS etc.) or Camtasia (video software applications)
- Practical knowledge and experience in both technical and non-technical training.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of training for multiple environments, including classroom-based and web-based learning formats
- Demonstrated leadership skills and an ability to lead and manage change
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment, utilizing critical thinking capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills with an ability to consult and communicate complex concepts and technology in simple terminology to a variety of audiences and skill sets
