Job Summary

This position assists the Loss Prevention Officer in a variety of routine and complex administrative, technical, and professional work in analyzing and administering the safety and loss prevention standards of Tropical Shell and Gifts. This position is also responsible for computer support, photocopying, filing, mailing, and other clerical duties to support the other staff members in a busy office environment. This person ensures that our company’s high standards of safety are maintained.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Monitor the digital surveillance cameras or closed-circuit recording system to identify internal or external theft
• Prepare documents such as security, liability, and worker’s compensation incident reports
• Administers and reconciles the manager’s account, assisted with running register reports, and investigate any discrepancies with managers (report findings to General Manager and finance department)
• Assist with safety and security inspections, evaluations, investigations, and projects/assignments supporting the Loss Prevention Officer, Operations, and the Retail Resource Manager
• Create and maintain various bingers, process incoming/outgoing mail, and operate office equipment

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in clerical, secretarial, or business administration preferred
• Be computer literate and keyboard/mouse proficient with a working knowledge of and ability to use various types of computer software. Such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Ability to learn to use the Retail Management System to generate new reports.
• This positions requires passing an annual MVR
• Clear speaking voice in the English Language

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
