The country marketing manager role will significantly contribute to the transformation of Hitachi Energy and drive growth through marketing activities. Support, plan and ensure implementation strategic marketing initiatives, customer engagement programs and sales enablement for the region. Responsible for designing programs that meet Mexico business objectives and align with global Hitachi Energy strategy. This position requires close collaboration and alignment with regional and country communications, regional business unit marketing and sales organizations to execute marketing activities and events that drive sales and increase market share.

Your responsibilities

• Be a strategic bridge between sales and marketing teams to align on strategic priorities and objectives.
• Map and understand local customers decision journey in order to develop plans to improve customer engagement programs such as lead generation and strategic positioning. Improve understanding of customer needs through data intelligence gathered from digital tools.
• Localize global value propositions and segment marketing strategies for appropriate market segments to meet regional customer needs.
• Drive regional marketing plan in conjunction with global marketing team and regional sales leaders, with a focus on business profitable growth.
• Regional point person for marketing tools as it relates to digital marketing campaigns and platforms.
• Manage strategic selection, evaluation and measurement of customer events and engagements in coordination with global event strategy. Work closely with communications team in project managing strategic events in region in collaboration with cross-functional / cross-business teams.
• Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to support YOY improvement of spend, real time campaign adjustment, and detailed insights on customer /prospect interest.
• Collaborate with Regional/Hub Business Unit marketing to drive Hitachi Energy approach for all marketing activities.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and new customer acquisition.
• Held accountable for annually set KIs to measure performance and link activities ti pipeline.
• Design and lead together with regional businesses regional customer journeys that ensure the right people are targeted, at the right time, with the right messages.
• Improve understanding of regional customer needs through data intelligence gathered from digital tools.

Your background

• Education : Business, Marketing, Communication,
• Languages: Fluent English (must have)
• Expertise (Years): 5 – 6 years in similar position
• Experience in marketing, brand and/or marketing communications experience in B2B environment (prefer technical/industrial environment) – Energy /power segment preferred.
• Basic understanding of lead generation and marketing automation
• Flexible with demonstrated experience in leading and managing change communications.
• Experience in marketing metrics, ROIs and reporting
• Experience with managing, tracking and reporting on budgets (financial stewardship accountability)
• Analytical mindset (marketing measurement, new market analysis)
• Strong relationship management skills with internal and external partners at all levels
• Ability to leverage analytics to inform strategy
• Marketing and / or Field Enablement experience.
