Basic FunctionRetrieve prices daily from appropriate price entities, input into AS400 and DTN FuelSeller for daily invoicing and distribute daily reports to the pricing department in Marketing, under general supervision.Job Duties* Works with Platts/OPIS or other pricing agencies to retrieve appropriate prices for invoicing purposes* Manages and maintain historical pricing data base* Coordinates pricing, timely invoicing, and accuracy of price input to reduce incorrect invoicing* Distributes price survey and sales report to marketing department daily* Maintains positive and productive working relationship within department and with other departments* Manages pricing disputes with customers/suppliers* Works with appropriate departments to help collect customer receivables* Provides customer/carrier clearance at all terminals* Exchanges customer set up in AS400* Prepares pricing and business related analyses and research in such areas as marketing and sales* Compiles and prepare reports, graphs, and charts of data developedSpecial assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.ExperienceA minimum of two years of job related experience is required.Education LevelA minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.A Bachelor’s Degree in business or related discipline is preferred.Required SkillsMust be able to apply basic clerical and data entry assignments based on pre-established guidelines. Must have knowledge of Microsoft products. Must have experience in reading contracts, general understanding of credit and collections, as well as marketing of products is required. Ability to adapt to pricing systems being down, billing systems down time or other areas out of your control that would affect daily duties. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication, intermediate reading and writing skills, and with the ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.Supervisory/Managerial ResponsibilityNone.Work ConditionsOffice based.Physical RequirementsJob conditions require sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, and perceiving color differences.
