Home Leasing has an exciting opportunity for Data Analyst I!
This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join a data analytics team focused on the accurate and efficient transfer of mortgage loan data. Our team is looking to improve processes and leverage individual and team skills to further our productivity and success.

A role you will love
As a Data Analyst I you manage the intake and review of loan transfer data and performs the tasks necessary to convert data from seller servicers onto SLS’s platform. This includes identifying potential gaps or errors in data and working with internal and external contacts to resolve identified concerns.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Analyses data so that it can be accurately mapped into a pre-boarding system utilizing proprietary programs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other software.Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with vendors, MI carriers and investors.
* Performs data analysis to identify discrepancies which need further review or explanation. Determines the best course of action to resolve the discrepancy dependent on the severity of the issue, loan product, lien position and loan status.
* Interacts with prior servicers and investors regarding SLS transfer requirements, data discrepancies, missing data, files/images and timelines for servicing transfers. Communicates and coordinates with other business units to resolve these discrepancies and loan level reviews within deadlines.
* Demonstrates proactive problem solving to improve loan boarding processes. This may require implementation of approved procedural changes necessary to minimize financial risks, improve service delivery and/or reduce expenses. Drafts technology project requirements and testing plans. Completes user acceptance testing as assigned.
* Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet fluctuating and stringent deadlines and demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with team members, internal business units, customers, and clients..

Education and Experience
Required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred:
Associates degree (A.A.) preferred or equivalent work experience.
0-1 year of experience in data analysis or the application of data analytics, preferably within the mortgage servicing industry.
