Job Summary

The position will be a work at home part time position, approximately 10+ hours per week and will depend on the volume of the broker. The hours for this job are during daytime business hours. This is a long term position so don’t apply if you are looking for a transitional job.

You will be working closing with a mortgage broker who has 29 years of experience and who originates 3 to 5 loans a month.

Responsibilities and Duties

This position requires someone who is detailed oriented, a self starter and can operate under very little supervision. Good verbal communication skills are necessary.

The right candidate will be required to perform the following duties: enter in a 1003 loan application into Calyx Point, generate disclosures, gather missing loan approval documents, be able to correctly analyze bank statements, tax returns and other documents for submission to lenders, provide a missing items list on a daily basis to mortgage broker, learn each lenders system for uploading loans for submission, have expert knowledge on mortgage processing from origination to close, provide timely updates to borrowers, Realtors and title companies verbally and through email correspondence.

Qualifications and Skills

College education preferred, at least 3 years of processing experience, licensed processor in the State of Florida is strongly preferred or ability to obtain license. Must be able to pass criminal background and credit check.
