About the Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Honeywell Sine, you’ll work with our cross functional teams to develop efficient and robust solutions that deliver value for a customers. Along with the wider Product Development team, you’ll be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle including gathering requirements, solution design, development, testing and deployment.
This role is paying 85-100k base + super depending on the individuals experience & competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
o Work with a modern stack which includes Node, React, Postgres, Mongodb and Redis – all running in AWS.
o Develop front-end and back-end code using TypeScript/JavaScript technologies (NodeJS, React, Angular) and associated web technologies (HTML, CSS)
o Help us build microservices using Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.
o Build quality software using tools such as JIRA and Bitbucket
o Foster team development by reviewing code, providing constructive suggestions and mentoring other team members
o Apply and promote high-quality engineering practices
o Provide relative estimates for the development effort, validate and improve continuously.
o Provide operational support of the solution, responding to production alarms on a rostered basis
Key Experience & Capabilities:
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technology qualification
o 3+ years practical experience developing software solutions in a comparable software stack
o Backend development skills using TypeScript and/or JavaScript in NodeJS or other languages such as Java, PHP, C# and Ruby
o Front End Skills using TypeScript and/or JavaScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular and Vue
o Solid understanding of security, web standards and architecture
o Ability to understand both functional and non-functional requirements of a solution which are built for scale
o Strong JavaScript background in web applications and Node.js
o Good principles of software design and architecture
o RESTFul API design
o Understanding of relational database concepts
o Experience working with non trivial SPAs
o Working knowledge of React and AngularJS
