ABOUT THE ROLE
Expertise in the implementation of material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and store functions within Honeywell Aerospace. You will engage in the execution and follow up with policies, procedures, and material control systems. You will identify and solve problems in and out of the immediate work area independently and ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Keep Honeywell’s production lines moving by ensuring materials are well scheduled, evaluated, and accurately delivered on time, every time. Continuously improve material management processes to drive better business results. Use your agility and ability to support clients to solve escalations and achieve metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop production plans and perform material analysis for the Integrated Supply Chain organization
Support of SQP process through accurate delivery and inventory tracking
Take appropriate actions to ensure we meet production deliveries
Create and execute production work orders in support of the material requirements plan
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
MUST HAVE
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of supply chain experience
WE VALUE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials Management, or related discipline
Knowledge of manufacturing planning processes is desired
In-depth experience and expertise with MRP/ERP Systems
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma tools and problem-solving methodology
Ability to work independently and take direction from others
Ability to multi-task and assess priorities in a complex and demanding environment
Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills
