We are currently seeking a Advanced Field Service Engineer to join our Services Business in the Honeywell Building Technology Group team in our Auckland office based in Freemans Bay. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor your focus will be on creating solutions that enable our customers to keep their buildings operating safely, efficiently and comfortably across our commercial sites in NZ, with a focus on BMS project delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the renewals are delivered to date, to budget and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- To keep abreast of site and customer needs by continued development of customer relationships
- Providing technical support to peers, which may include other technical representatives, Account Managers, Engineers etc.
- Identifying sales and service opportunities
- To keep technical knowledge current – may require additional activities, such as self-learning on technical products
- Keep customer fully informed of possible system enhancements and upgrade paths
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- A degree or considerable experience in an Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, and Mechatronic or similar Engineering field or trade.
- A comprehensive understanding and ideally 3 years’ of experience in BMS applications, in particular, HVAC and SCADA
- Industrial Control or Automation experience will also be highly regarded
- Considerable experience in control projects, with extensive on-site knowledge with an ability to run small projects
- Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives
- Collaborative attitude with a customer focused mind set
