Overview Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH), a partner of HonorHealth, is looking for talented healthcare team members to step into our culturally diverse health centers! Responsibilities Job Summary Provide high quality customer service duties including first contact with clients, screen families for potential programs, and schedule appointments for all services and programs appropriately. Serves as main point of contact for NOAH. Responsible for scheduling, verifying insurance, and confirming appointments. Responsible for clearing work queues, patient lists, emails, and referrals in Electronic Health Record (EHR). Establishes successful communication methods with patient and patient care team. Takes necessary steps to promote and provide access to care. Contacts and consults with patients in a professional and courtesy manner to provide optimal positive patient experiences that consists of: scheduling, registering, verifying insurance, confirming appointments, and explaining information needed for their appointment. Responsible for explaining community resources such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and connecting patients with appropriate resources such as food banks, Community Action Programs, and other agencies. Responsible for managing referrals in EHR, checking patient Work queues, referrals, documenting in EHR, and communicating with patient care team including but not limited to case management, physicians, and nurses. Responsible for tracking, completing, and documenting outcomes in EHR and excel on a timely manner. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 1 year Experience in customer service or in a healthcare related field and Microsoft Office.
